Supporting Stewardship Education for Recreation Users | |
![]() Water Matters, the Miistakis Institute, and the Environmental Law Centre will host two workshops targeted toward people and organizations who can potentially support or deliver recreation education and stewardship work in the Oldman and Bow headwaters areas. This includes recreational user groups, stewardship groups, recreation businesses, landowners and leaseholders, and front line government and municipal staff. A 3-hour evening workshop will be held in each of the Oldman and Bow River Basins, on September 23, 2015 (Lundbreck) from 6:30-9:30pm and September 24, 2015 (Calgary) from 6:30-9:30pm, to explore ways to develop and coordinate educational approaches to foster stewardship of headwaters areas by all types of recreational users.
