Wildlife and Landscape Photo Contest
In the Fall of 2006 Road Watch held a wildlife and landscape of the Crowsnest Pass photo contest. Winning photographs were recently displayed in the Pass at the local Art Gallery in Frank. Winning photographs can be seen here.
Wildlife Crossing Poster Contest
In the winter of 2007 Road Watch held a wildlife poster contest. Children from local schools were asked to think about wildlife and Highway 3 and draw their interpretation of wildlife crossing Highway 3. The contest took place in association with the Wildlife Crossing Display hosted by Crowsnest Conservation Society to promote understanding of wildlife and transportation issues in the region. The contest attracted 50 entries; winners were selected for three categories for two age groups. All the posters were recently displayed in the Pass at the local Art Gallery in Frank.
